Is the carpet noticeably dirty?

When a carpet has spots and stains all over it and there are walk patterns that would be a good reason to call and get the carpets cleaned. if there are spots you should have an idea of how they got there, was it sugar drinks water oil being tracked from a kitchen or outside dirt or maybe drinks or food with coloring tea coffee energy drinks with coloring?

All these will require a different kind of cleaning process. Steam cleaning will be more effective and scrubbing will likely be necessary also color stain treatments will be helpful in getting carpets cleanest  whether they are portable or truck mounted either system will work if all you are looking for is the carpet to be restored to its former newest condition.

Scrubbers are useful as long as care is taken to not damage fibers we avoid using brushes because brushes will comb out and untwist a fiber tuft and create heavy wear and tear. we use a Rx-20 machine because it gently agitates but not scrubs the carpet surface.

Are there odors in the carpet?

Many calls we get are due to urine on the carpet from a cat  dog or human accidents These odors can be a problem because they really can be annoying and very difficult to remove. Just spraying a odor control deodorizer from the pet store is not going to work so well .Finding a carpet cleaner that has experience in dealing with these odors is very important . We use Enzymes as a preferred cleaning agent. hydrogen based deodorizers are also effective. 

Enzymes take a few days to do their job because they actually digest the bacteria that causes odor and that takes time. I have used enzymes on mattresses sofa rugs and carpets it does a great job. but it takes a few days to really work .

Hydrogen based deodorizers are also effective they work faster than enzymes but they usually have a very strong scent. these are not my preferred because of the strong odor and clients complain so that is shy I don't like using them

Smoke curry feet odors are also difficult to remove steam cleaning and surface deodorizing helps improve the smell but because these tend to get into molecule size areas it is very difficult to remove . Smoke based deodorizers can be used or Ozone generating machines to remove odors at the molecule level

Breathing problems

If you are having breathing problems, cleaning the carpet would be helpful because there could be allergens pollen dust dead skin and other things that will act up allergies. Steam clean extraction us helpful in pulling those things out of a carpet. dry cleaning also works as long as the carpet is vacuumed with a hepa vacuum or hepa bag in the vacuum. we  use Procyon because it has no odor no smell no colors and has more certifications as a green cleaner than any other green cleaner in the industry plus it actually works great
